The Sino-European Enterprise Zone has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in 2017, and is the first national Sino-European Enterprises Zone north of the Yangtze river with a total area of 110 square kilometer. It is focused on Sino-European Cooperation and is located around the Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport, on the south side of the yellow river.

The zone has many transportation advantages, such as the Jinan Yaoqiang international airport, national first-class railway and high-speed train stations, main highways, main subway stations, and Xiaoqing River waterways and transportation. Therefore it enabled a good and advanced international logistics system together with its industrial manufacturing.
